National Paperclip Day is a celebration of this small but undeniably essential office product – the paperclip! Its origin goes way back to 1867, when Samuel Fay created the paperclip to hold tags onto fabric and not leave holes, and history was made. See the rules here.
Today, paperclips are an office staple (get it?) that we can’t live without. At Officemate, we produce over 1B paperclips every year – that’s a lot of paperclips – so of course we’re going to celebrate!
